Terms

ShellRider is a practice tool for learning the Linux command line. The website gives you a practice terminal that runs in your browser. The desktop app runs on a real Linux system you set up yourself. Both are run by Keenan Smith, in Texas.
Right now ShellRider is a beta for a small group. Things will change, break and get fixed. Progress might need to be reset if something goes badly wrong, and we'll say so if it does. Nothing is for sale yet, and nothing here promises a price, a date or a feature.
Your progress belongs to you. You can delete it any time by deleting your account. ShellRider's lessons, Pip and the code belong to ShellRider.
ShellRider is provided as it is. We work hard to make it right, but we can't promise it's free of mistakes, always available, or that it will get you through any exam or job. Practice helps. It isn't a guarantee.
You can leave any time by deleting your account. We can close an account that breaks these rules. If we ever shut ShellRider down, account holders get notice by email first.
These terms follow the laws of Texas. If something here turns out not to hold up, the rest still applies.
Email hello@shellrider.app. A real person reads it.
